I got Ling as my stylist. For someone who has Asian straight hair, most stylists in this countries don't even know what to do with them. (I'm talking about those from good salons with good customer service.) I've been a client of Back Stage and the nearby few salons for a long time. I left the Bay Area for a while, came back, had a terrible experience at E---- salon (not gonna name it) nearby. Making the decision to return to Back Stage took me quite a bit of hesitations. But I went ahead, asked for a stylist who'd know how to work my hair, got Ling and was blown away. She is extremely knowledgeable about how to maintain and cut hairs like mine. I could literally find no flaws in her service. I was so happy with my haircut that I didn't even ask for my hair to be washed again. (I usually hate getting hair on my face and back.) So there you go. Ling-sanity. I'll go again very soon.
